Our on-leash Dog Hiking service takes your dog on an adventure in the foothills! We make sure your furry friend is taken care of, well-exercised and in the company of other well-socialized dogs, all in Colorado’s fresh air and sunshine.

Well Socialized

We screen new canine clients prior to their first hike. Canine hikers must be calm around other dogs, other trail users and wildlife. This helps ensure a fun and safe hike for everyone.

Spayed/Neutered

Dogs must be fixed in order to qualify for a group hike. (We don't want the dogs to have too much fun.)

Travel Well

Your dog will be crated and transported in a vehicle. It is important that each member of our pack is able to relax and enjoy the ride to the trail head.

Vaccinations Up To Date

For the health and safety of your dog and dog friends, Rabies and DHPP vaccinations must be up to date.

Get Started - Schedule a Trial Session


A Trial Group Walk in your neighborhood is the first step to getting your pup signed up. We will bring a couple of well rounded and socialized dogs. Click on the Schedule A Trial button below. The calendar will then display the earliest date available for your trial. At times when we are unable to take on any new clients we will block out dates as necessary. After you have scheduled your trial, you will receive a confirmation email from info@denverdoghikers.com.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be used for Trial Sessions.

24/7 Online Scheduling

We strive to make scheduling a breeze by offering you the convenience of managing your schedule online. We will set you up with a Denver Dog Hikers account after your Trial Group Walk.

GPS Routes & Photos

Each hike is recorded with a GPS-enabled device. After the session, your dog hiker will post a map of the route, distance covered and time spent on the trail. Other photos, details and comments from your dog hiker will also be included in the online journal. You can check in from anywhere to see how your pup did during the session.

transparency

Our hikers will let you know when we pick up your dog and when we bring your dog home. You will also know when the hike started and ended. Once a journal detailing the hike has been posted, you will receive an email notification.
